Project Status: Design Phase

The Nightscape Tech Chronograph is a simple Arduino powered airsoft chronograph that will measure the velocity and rate of fire of an airsoft gun. This may be integrated into the Airsoft computer project.

Scratch Section

Use a short section of pvc with 4 LEDs (2 for light, 2 for sensing) and a custom arduino to measure the velocity and ROF of an airsoft gun.

Start with FPS, but also calculate RPS

use a force sensor to detect energy output.

Similar to madbull design, have the short section of PVC go through a project box. Mount the non-serial LCD and arduino in project box.

LEDs are too slow to use as sensors, need something like this:
